The Kooking Kids Academy is a Virtual Kids Summer camp! Welcome to the first of its kind a Virtual Cooking camp for Kids. I am very excited to bring this your home. For 2 hours a day for 3 days a week. So, for 2 hours Parents you can relax and let me teach your kids to cook.

There will be two different sections, Section One “The Tea Spoons”, Section Two “The Table Spoons”. The Tea Spoons’ age range is 6-11, and The Table Spoons’ are 12-17.

The days for each camp are determined on a session by session basis, for further information please email me at chef@thekulinaryproject.com. Each Class will have an agenda and step by step instructions to follow. Once the camper is registered they will receive an email with a link to the first week of camp.

The cost for the Academy is $150.00 per child per week. There will be a multiple week discount, and a sibling discount as well. There will be a 15% discount for multiple weeks. The sibling discount is as follows, the first campers is full price, and second is $125.00, the third is $100.00, and so on up to 5 campers.

What We Will Cover

Day 1. Kitchen Basics

Covering all essential measurements, knife skills, basic cooking techniques, soups and stocks.  From soups and stocks, we will move into intermediate cooking.

Day 2. Intermediate cooking

Day 2 will include stove top cooking, protein cooking, and vegetable cooking.  The Finale is the last session of camp.

Day 3. The Final Day

The Campers will take everything they have learned and make three full meals.  At the end of camp, each camper will get a medal and certificate.

Kitchen Essentials

Everything a Young Chef needs to be successful! Below are the basic supplies that you will need to get started, some you may already have in your kitchen.

  • 8” Chef Knife

  • 1 Paring Knife

  • 1 set Measuring spoons

  • 1 set of measuring cups

  • 1 liquid measuring cup

  • 1 rubber spatula

  • 1 spatula

  • 1 wooden spoon

  • 1 peeler

  • 1 can opener

  • 1 cut glove

  • 1 strainer

  • 1 small cutting board

  • 1 set of themed cookie cutters (your choice)

  • 2 pot holders

  • 1 set of mixing bowls

  • 1 set of pots and pans (at the very least 1 sauté pan, 1 sauce pot, 1 stock pot)

  • 2 kitchen towels

  • 1 muffin pan (6 cups at the minimum)

  • 1 set of tongs

  • 1 apron

  • 1 thermometer

  • 1 toaster

Required Forms
